When: March 10, 2007
Where: Lipa City
Ob-gyne: Dra. Lilibeth Manguerra
Weight: 79.1 kilos (Lost almost a kilo from my last checkup)
Blood Pressure: 100/80
Medicines: Sorbif (iron) and Mama whiz (multivitamins)
Next checkup: April 14, 2007
Our Baby: 28 weeks
Checkup and Ultrasound: I decided to have an earlier checkup this time to make sure that our baby was doing fine. I had pains on my lower abdomen and at my back and most of the time I can feel the baby's movement on the lower part of my tummy or my abdomen. I was afraid that I should not feel that or it may cause a preterm labor so we decided to have my checkup a week earlier to what was scheduled. I had a feeling also that I might have a UTI (urinary track infection) also...Thanks God, my OB told me that everything was fine. Everything was normal, including the baby's weight and size. The baby was just moving normally and actively. And to make sure and for our peace of mind, my OB did an ultrasound, and all was well. And to make the good news better, she confirmed again that our baby is really a baby girl. I asked her if it is really a 100% sure, because we will be scheduling a shopping for our "little princess". Dra. Manguerra captured a very nice angle of the ultrasound... And again, Meinhard had the chance to see her baby sister again.

How your baby's growing: By this week, your baby weighs a little over 2 pounds and measures about 14.8 inches from the top of her head to her heels. She can open her eyes — which now sport lashes — and she'll turn her head toward a continuous, bright light from the outside. Her fat layers are beginning to form, too, as she gets ready for life outside the womb.
Note: Every baby develops a little differently — even in the womb. Our information is designed to give you a general idea of your baby's development.
Facts About My Pregnancy:
- Lower abdomen and back pain
- Leg cramps
- Vaginal discharge (but my OB said it is normal, as long as it is not itchy and it does not smell bad)
- My "little princess" is such an active baby with her movements and kicks...
- During this period (Since last February until now) I was so busy helping with my cousin's 18th birthday... I had to do lots of stuff for her birthday... I feel tired most of the time but at the same time enjoying every minute of planning and doing stuff for her birthday...
