Meinhard started his regular class last week. There was a two day orientation (August 8 and 9). The following day they started the regular class already.
Last week was a very good start... and he likes going to school. But he was looking for his other classmates. Since it was the regular class, the nursery, prekindergarten and kindergarten were separated to their respective classes. He was in the 10:30 in the morning till 1:00 in the afternoon class. He kept on asking for Cole, Derek, Pasha, Andrei and some others who belonged now to the nursery classes. The nursery class was quite a big class but the prekindergarten and kindergarten has three students each only. A very small class but personally I prefer it since each of them will be given much attention. I think with some activities they put the prekindergarten and kindergarten together since they have the same class time. And Mama She brings and fetch us to school. Meinhard and her cousin Jewel has the same class time but with a different school (Stonyhurst). And we are so lucky because I will not think anymore on how to bring and fetch Meinhard to his school. Thanks to Mama She and Papa Jun.... But Meinhard and I loved it so much when Daddy got the chance to come with us in school, like last Friday until today.
After school Meinhard will tell us what he did in his class. He will tell us the story his teacher read to them. He will sing to us the songs they are singing in school. And he is teaching me the songs if I dont know how to sing them (hahaha). He taught me the song "Little Peter Rabbit" and their "Goodbye Song". He will sing "Two Little Black Birds", "Jack and Jill", "Creep them Creep them". And he will always show us his stamped star on his hands. He was really enjoying his school and we are really enjoying all his stories about his day. Just like yesterday, he said his Teacher Mitch read them story about "The Little Red Hen" and today "The Rabbit". Today, I got the chance to talked to Teacher Mitch while I was paying for his school uniform, he said Meinhard liked peanuts so much because she can see that he brings nuts (aside from his other snacks) almost everyday...and he really do... its his favorite... And she said his classmates will asked for it and Meinhard will share to them. I was really proud of that when Teacher Mitch said that he was sharing. You know, just like other kids, sometimes Meinhard doesnt want to share and right know he is learning... Teacher Mitch told me also that Meinhard is so attentive when she reads story to them. Meinhard loves books and stories and never gets tired of listening to them. I just hope until he grows up he will still loves books...
Meinhard is asking lots of questions...being curious with lots of things... Next time i'll jot them everything here in my blogsite... the questions I remembered him asking to us... And sometimes we were caught of guard...sometimes his Daddy and I couldnt answer immediately... And when he grows up and he can understand better, I think he will enjoy reading all this stuff about him (that's why I will keep a copy of all the things that I wrote about him here).

Meinhard's Question of the Day: Why Jack and Jill became birds?
You know the "Jack and Jill" song... "The Jack and Jill went up the hill to fetch a pail of water... Jack fell down and broke his crown and Jill came tumbling after...."
And then they have another song in school... "Two Little Blackbirds"... Here it goes... "Two little blackbirds sitting on the hill, one named Jack and the other named Jill...Fly away Jack and fly away Jill...Come back Jack and come back Jill..."
After school we went to Mcdonalds and had a take out and when we were on our way, he was singing the songs he learned from his school... And while waiting for our order, he just popped out this question... "Mommy why Jack and Jill became birds?" At first I didnt understand why he asked that question and suddenly realized that he thought the Jack and Jill in the other nursery rhyme is the Jack and Jill in the "Two Little Blackbirds".... It was really funny and I just answered that they are different Jack and Jill... I said that the other Jack and Jill are children and the other Jack and Jill are birds. Come to think of it... my baby is really thinking... and I believe that this is a smart question from him...hehehehe.... And I will watch out for more questions from him and just hope that I can answer it correctly and the way he can understand better....
