Living in Bangkok…Leaving Bangkok…

It was August 2003 when we first arrived in Bangkok, Thailand. My husband got his job assignment in Motorola. Initially it was a three month contract only, then became six months until it reached until March 2005.

At first, I was pretty scared and at the same time excited not knowing what to expect to our new environment. Tita Agnes (Diva) helped us in our first week here by letting us stay in her apartment in Somerset Lakepoint. And then we found Nantiruj Apartment with the help of Elmer and this became our second home, Room 1003. We learned to love Bangkok so much because of the experiences and memories we had here. We met new friends especially “The Sisterette”. We had our never ending gatherings and parties. We will surely miss all the fun and the easy and convenient life Bangkok brought us.
