Reminiscin'

Bernard and I had been classmates for four years in high school. We had been friends for twelve years. And believe it or not, for those twelve years, it was purely platonic, “no strings attached”. And we really couldn’t pinpoint where it all started. Anyway, maybe it all started with the friendship we had, the strong foundation that we will always have. No courtship that happened and we just realized for less than two weeks that we were meant to be more than friends and we love each other so much. It was the 16th of January 2000 exactly five years now) when we officially became “us” (“maghoney”). And this day will always be very special with us. When we became us, the courtship began (a bit late..hehehe). After nine months of relationship, Bernard proposed (October 28, 2000 “my birthday” in a dinner date at Shangrila Hotel – it was really a surprised for me) and of course I said “Yes”. But another proposal was made, January 16, 2001 (our 1st year anniversary at the Basilica Imaculada Concepcion Church). He said it was a bit late, but he really planned to give me the engagement ring on this date. And of course, I said “Yes” again. And after a year of engagement, we said our “I do’s” the 20th of October 2001 at the Basilica Imaculada Concepcion Church. And forever we will be friends, “mag-honey” and husband and wife.

We just want to thank some of our dear friends who were there from the very beginning of our relationship, “Raquel&Jason, AteWeng, Leo, Troy(remember when you helped Bernard set up his surprised dinner date for me), Jutephriesy & Eva”. You will always be very dear to us and will always be remembered.

Happy 5th Year Anniversary!

January 16, 2005...We celebrated our fifth year anniversary as "Maghoney" in our apartment (Nantiruj Tower Bangkok,Thailand). We just ordered food from Tony Roma's, pastries from Marriot Hotel and we had our anniversary champagne (Moet&Chandon). It was truly a very special day for us....
